Summary of Article IV

Section 1: Judicial power belongs to Supreme Court.
Congress decides the effect of the Supreme Court.


Section 2: Citizens have all of the same privileges in all states.
If someone was to commit a crime and go to another state, when found they would be sent back to the state they left and be prosecuted for the crime.


Section 3: No state can make new states without consent of legislatures.
Congress has power to make and end all rules and regulations.


Section 4: United States guarantees Republic
Also to protect states from invasion and against domestic violence.
